UNHCR | Help families forced to flee in the Middle East
In Iran, more than 3 million people are temporarily displaced internally.
In Lebanon, over 1 million people have registered on the government’s displacement platform and remain internally displaced - 35% of them children.
Among those fleeing are families who have already escaped violence once and are now running for their lives again, carrying only what they can and with little to no social or economic support in places of displacement.
UNHCR teams are on the ground across the region, providing emergency relief items and safe shelter for families who have lost everything.
By making a monthly donation to Switzerland for UNHCR, you will help us to plan ahead and provide refugees with ongoing relief and protection and help them regain hope for a better future.

If you are resident in Switzerland, your donation is tax deductible. Direct federal tax: 20% of net income, provided that the amount of the donation is at least 100 francs. Municipal taxes: depending on the canton, up to 20% of net income for individuals and 20% for companies. For further information, please contact the tax authorities in your canton.
However, in the very rare case that this emergency response becomes fully funded, your support will be used to provide vital assistance to people forced to flee around the world.
